I want to try this blanket, but when I click on the patten link, it takes me to a "payhip.com" website.

Hi dljrtfan 9935786, sorry for the inconvenience! It looks like the blog is no longer available, but luckily the free pattern is still available for download on Ravelry. I have updated the link and you should now be able to access the pattern. I hope this helps! - Laura, editor of AllFreeCrochet

I made this w/o the black area in center of the crayon. Once done I crocheted letters and put grandkids names on it. Kaden with only 5 letters in his name left one crayon for me to add ladybugs. The next one will have butterflys for a girl and the next boys will have frogs. So much fun to make, use your own creative mind for many more ideas. Thanks for sharing this pattern!!

This is the neatest pattern. Made this about 14 years ago for my granddaughter and she still has it. So pretty but best to do in colors they like. She cherishes hers.

Hi, harveykatherine1 9033315. I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble accessing the pattern. I was just able to access it without trouble. Perhaps your internet browser is blocking the window from opening. Try allowing popups to see if that helps. You might also try using a different internet browser, such as Firefox or Google Chrome. Hope this helps! --Editors of AllFreeCrochet

I had the same problem. The link listed here is http://www.enfys.me.uk/freecrayonafghan.htm. Went to the lady's site and noticed there were hyphens in the link to the pattern. So here is the correct link: http://www.enfys.me.uk/free-crayon-afghan.htm

I'm having trouble with rows 71 and 72 on this pattern. I can not do the hdc2tog and come out with the right amount of stitches. Can you help me understand what I'm doing wrong?

I'm trying to do this, but when I get to rows 31 & 32, when I have to change to black . I either have to many stiches or to little strictes . I'm having a problem. I have ripped it out I don't remember how many X's I belong to CGOA and brought it there and they couldn't figure it out. Is there a problem with the direction?? Please help. Ellen Coffey
