This is a weakness for me. I like looking at pictures of other projects people have made that dont share their patterns and try to come up with a version of it for myself. Then I am left with the agonizing decision of how to change up the border and I never know which pattern is a good one to use.

Thank you for this ebook. Lately I have been adding a lot of crochet edging to older clothes. It not only breathes new life into them by changing them up slightly, but also helps strengthen weakening seams, hems, and collars. I have also used crocheted edging to hide fraying sleeve ends, thus extending the life of the tops. It is nice to have a selection of edges to choose from.

Im never sure how to edge a piece to finish it off beautifully but I downloaded this free ebook this morning and it is exactly what I needed! I have 2 blankets and a scarf that still need to be edged but because I didnt know what to do I put them to one side months ago. Now, from this ebook, Ive chosen edgings for both blankets and am deciding between 2 options that I like for the scarf!

I have and adding an edging to a project is easy. I am currently making my second blanket for my queen size bed. I plan to use an edging from this download to finish off the blanket. I will share when done which will be in a few months. My last blanket took me a little over two months to finish it.

I have just started to learn how to crochet, using a booklet to learn the different stitches. Still a bit unsure of myself to really tackle a pattern. I am eager to make things for my grandchildren and myself. Hope to get going soon.

Hi Elizabeth, you may want to check out "Utube" videos. Seeing someone crochet a stitch makes it easier to understand how to do the stitch than seeing it in a book.

Any knitted, or crocheted items is not looking finished unless you use crochet edging.
